Benifits of Turbocharger

A turbocharger, or turbo, is a gas compressor which is used to force the induction of an internal combustion engine. It’s a form of supercharger. The turbocharger increases the air’s density entering into the engine to create high power. Turbocharger has a compressor which is powered by a turbine, driven by its own exhaust gases, rather than direct mechanical drive as with many other superchargers.

It is very important that we maintain our automobile’s turbo a good working condition. If you experience any change in performance of the engine or fuel efficiency of the engine then you are suppose to verify the condition of the turbo. Speaking technically, turbo is a forced induction system which helps in intake of more volume of air. When there is more volume of air then you get more volume of oxygen for combustion purpose. When the air is compressed, more air gets into the cylinder for combustion. When more volume of air enters the cylinder, there are more chances for more fuel-air mixture ratio for increased power output. Hence the power of the engine increases rapidly high.

The working of the turbo is pretty simple. The turbo has two main components. First component is turbine and the second component is the compressor. The exhaust from your engine spins the turbine which in turn helps the compressor draw more air. When you experience changes in the power output, then you are supposed to check the working condition of your vehicle's turbo. With Car Parts Warehouse assured quality auto parts can be expected.
